My name is Jane and I'm a writer and researcher, hailing from a small country town in northern Victoria, Australia.
Though I'm now based in Melbourne, most of my writing experience comes from two years working as a journalist in the Middle East for Jordan's leading business and economics magazine Venture.
From a young age I've been passionate about social justice, particularly the treatment of people seeking asylum and refugees. This passion led me to study International Relations for my undergraduate degree at La Trobe University, graduating in 2009 and including a semester at the University of Delhi, India. I then completed a Master of Global Communications.
This website contains a collection of my articles, travel tales, and photography from when I set off from Australia in 2013 to fulfil a childhood contract up until the present day.
I'm also currently trying my hand at some literature writing, though you won't find any of that on here as it's hidden deep on my computer for the time being.
